The offered battery is one of the most powerful and capacious batteries that can be found in the "9V" battery size - the minimum capacity of 500 mAh has been achieved through the use of dedicated lithium-ion cells.

The new Li-ion batteries in the size of a 9V battery with a nominal voltage of 7.4V achieve twice the rated capacities expressed in mAh than their counterparts made in Ni-MH technology. Ni-MH batteries, on the other hand, have a slightly higher average operating voltage (nominal) - usually 8.4V.

The battery can also be charged using chargers dedicated to Ni-MH batteries, but in this case the charging time may be significantly extended.
