Product description

The 3-12x54 Polar T96 is perfect when hunting from a stand or ground blind. Due to its very compact design it is also suitable for fast moving game. The signature tube design with flowing lines forms an elegant appearance which enhances the look of your rifle. The lean 54 mm objective allows the riflescope to be mounted lower and yet still allows a better light transmission performance than other larger 56 mm objective due to its patented optical design.

HUNTING SUCCESSFULLY IN LOW-LIGHT CONDITIONS: THE POLAR T96 RIFLESCOPE SERIES

The Polar T96 Series defines a new standard of low-light hunting. As the name implies, it guarantees an overall light transmission of at least 96 %. Therefore the Polar T96 is the ideal riflescope for hunting in low-light conditions and gives you the precious extra minutes for a successful hunt in the evening. We offer our most popular tactical P4FL reticle in the First Focal Plane. The D7 in Second Focal Plane combines a good visible reticle with a distinct illuminated red dot without covering significantly the target. Another unique feature: the Schmidt & Bender patented “Minimum Deviation Technology” allows only a negligible deviation of less than 1 cm at 100 m (0.39” at 109 yd). This is essential for achieving the highest precision since every Second Focal Plane riflescope suffers deviation when rotating the magnification from maximum to minimum. As you can see, the Polar T96 convinces not only with superb optical performance but also with precise and robust mechanics according to our philosophy: “Precision makes the difference”.

WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT POLAR T96?

Schmidt & Bender lens coatings adhere to the highest technical standards. Nothing less is appropriate in order to fulfill our demands on image quality and light transmission. The Polar T96 riflescopes distinguish themselves from others through the careful selection of high-quality glass material, combinations of highly refractive glass and SCHOTT HD glass. Schmidt & Bender carefully inspects every lens and optical assembly at each production step to ensure they fulfill our requirements. Since our tolerance are very tight we must measure and handpick every single lens. By doing so, we achieve a minimum amount of variation from riflescope to riflescope in regard to optical performance. This is an essential requirement since we guarantee and measure after assembly the outstanding light transmission of at least 96 % for every single Polar T96 riflescope.

PERFECT FOR LOW-LIGHT CONDITIONS

You will experience the superior optical performance of our Polar T96 especially when facing difficult light conditions such as moonlight or at dawn or dusk. We have optimized the wavelength depending transmission to suit the human eye sensitivity under low-light conditions. Furthermore, our 3-12x54 with optional parallax adjustment/ side focus is ideal for night vision or thermal objective devices. If you are using such devices be sure to adjust your side focus in order to achieve the best possible image quality with this combination.

RETICLES

D7 – SECOND FOCAL PLANE

The D7 with illuminated red dot is in Second Focal Plane and is the most popular hunting reticle from Schmidt & Bender. The reticle in SFP is independent from the magnification system, which means as magnification of the target is enlarged or reduced, the apparent size of the reticle remains the same. This allows for less target coverage and is therefore popular among hunters.
