Vespera Dual Band Filter – Enhance Your Astrophotography in Any Setting
The Vespera Dual Band Filter is a powerful narrowband filter that improves photo quality for both city and natural locations. It enhances contrast by selecting the key Hydrogen Alpha (H-alpha) and Oxygen III (O-III) wavelengths commonly found in nebulae, providing sharper stars and clearer details in your images.
How the Dual Band Filter Works
This filter only allows two important wavelengths, O-III and H-alpha, to reach the Vespera sensor. By blocking out other light, it makes stars and celestial objects like nebulae and supernova remnants stand out more against the background sky.
Ideal for Nebula and Star Cluster Photography
The Dual Band Filter is especially effective for capturing emission nebulae like the Orion Nebula (M42), dark nebulae such as the Horsehead Nebula, planetary nebulae like the Owl Nebula (M97), and even star clusters like the Hercules Cluster (M13).
Custom-Engineered for Vespera
Designed specifically for the Vespera telescope, the Dual Band Filter does not reduce the optical diameter and has no impact on aperture. The lens ring includes an electronic microchip, allowing Vespera to automatically detect the filter and adjust settings for optimal image quality.
Key Specifications
The filter has a 12nm bandwidth for each wavelength (O-III at 500.7nm and H-alpha at 656.3nm), ensuring precise and high-quality results.
